The idea of subs serving Doms goes back to the beginning of time. Those of the Christian faith have read many stories about servants in the bible.

Regardless of your religion or reliefs, you have no doubt read stories of those who choose to serve and those destined them to own them.
Long before I got into the scene, Doms and slaves ran ads in the local gay magazines or they found each other in gay bars. But there weren’t many opportunities for straight (or even gay) Alphas to find weak submissives. The internet changed all that!
I got my start in Findom scene 20 years ago back in the days of America Online and Prodigy. AOL was famous for its private rooms. Once a private room title became well known, you could always find it full of people anytime of day. BDSM, doms4slaves, etc., were the kinds of rooms you might find full of subs seeking interactions with more dominant men.
As AOL began to lose some steam, the scene shifted to Yahoo. Masters created (or had slaves create) Yahoo groups where pictures could be posted, Masters could adorn the cover, and slave could post messages singing the praises of their Doms. There were also tons of groups focused on single topics like feet, muscles, etc. Here’s a group I created back then that is still functioning, just not very active:

Back in the days of Yahoo, there were some Masters who were extremely popular and made a ton of cash. Some may remember Master Hellahot for example…some called him the Master of all Masters…Father of the modern Findom era.
